Here at Westminster Presbyterian, a key part of our mission statement includes the discipleship map we call FLOW. Getting in the FLOW is critical to our growth in faith. The first letter of that acronym stands for “Fortify”. By that we mean fortify your faith through the study of God’s word and prayer. We do that here at Westminster through our Build and Bridge groups. Build groups are lecture focused and Bridge groups are discussion based. Both are time tested activities for fortifying our faith. Our flagship offerings are Sundays at 10 am and Wednesdays at 5:30 pm, but there are plenty of alternatives to fit your schedule.
Here are some opportunities for you to plug in:

Westminster Sewing Ministry
Our mission is to share the warmth of God's Love by creating gifts of comfort for our community and to the ends of the world. Current sewing projects include: aprons, dresses, caps, crib totes, crocheted crosses, lap quilts, pillowcases (large and small), prayer shawls, wheelchair totes, 3000 Stockings. WoW Missions has partnered with: Teens for Christ for the crib totes; the American Cancer society for caps; and Family Promise and Ronald McDonald House for the bears and little pillows. The large pillowcases and lap quilts have been taken to the Carillon complex and to WPC shutins. Other partnerships are being developed, including Drums for Africa. In addition, the 3000 Stockings for Kunsan, 2011 Project will continue to connect with the Bernina sewing Studio, Carillon, Elmbrook Estates, Grand Court, Wedgewood South, Wilshire Place, and the town of Tahoka, as well as many individuals and other places for making and decorating the stockings.. As hearts consider and minds discuss the lessons God has already prepared for these upcoming Wonderful Wednesdays at Westminster, hands will be busy working with sewn projects to be sent with His love into His World.

Women of Westminster: Under the triune Godhead of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Westminster Presbyterian Church seeks to be a place of love and support to its members and the community at large. Our prayer is that each woman of Westminster will find a place where her unique talents and desires are matched within the life of the church and its ministries, and in particular, we hope that you will discover the perfect place to connect with sisters in Christ to Share Lives, Be Fed, and Serve Others.
WoW is part of a larger denominational organization of more than 300,000 women within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), called Presbyterian Women. Young/Middle Adult Life Matters
This is a vehicle for the young adult community to come together for fellowship and discussion about the issues in life that matter to us most in our vocations, our families, our spiritual and social lives. Each week we will discuss a key spiritual issue from prayer and bible study to topical issues that are explored in the sermon. We will have time to express joys and concerns and be able to pray for one another. Some weeks we will have time just for socialization and be able to invest into each other's lives. This class will hopefully springboard into more activities outside of church that are inclusive to all who participate in the class or who fall into the demographic. This class will use one of the best young adult curriculums on the market, Life Matters, to spur conversation and fellowship.
