APNC for Missions and Evangelism

The task of finding and calling our next Associate Pastor involves many steps.  The position is Associate Pastor of Mission and Evangelism.  The person God leads here will be responsible for developing and overseeing our outward ministries of local, national, global missions and evangelism.: The nominating committee is comprised of Moderator Greg Bulls, Elder Bev Sumrow, Gene Day, Josh Mathis, and Joan Sears. 

The steps we have completed as a committee are highlighted below:

  1. Presbytery approval to elect the APNC
  2. Formation of the APNC
  3. Draft the Church Information Form (CIF) for WPC
  4. Session approval of our CIF
  5. Presbytery approval of our CIF
  6. Meeting with our Presbytery liaison
  7. Submission of our CIF to the online Call Referral Services system of our denomination OCTOBER 13, 2010
  8. Receipt of PIFs from candidates
  9. Review of PIFs and selection of candidates
  10. Interviews
  11. Canidating sermon and Congregational meeting
  12. Approval of the call by our Presbytery
