The way in which we get real with God this Christmas is by getting real with his message. We do so through recognizing the context of his message, that we are in the dark; and the content of his message, that only through Christ are we brought into the light.

One of the ways that we "get real" with God is through expressing praise to God for his Son, Jesus Christ.
However, the reason we praise God is not for God's benefit - but for ours. Praise accomplishes something beautiful in our soul and its relationship to God.
